Most of you might know Emma Watson from her persona on Harry Potter, Hermione Granger. In fact, Emma’s style is very different from her characters’.
If there’s one thing I love about Emma’s style, it’ the fact that she manages to look elegant and sophisticated, while still dressing her age. It’s a problem for many teens that try to dress “older” than what they really are, and Emma does a great job on keeping that to a minimum.
Her choices (or her stylists’) makes me (almost) want to sell my right arm in order to get the same. My favorite is the one on the top right. I love the way that she balances complete elegance with something that has tacky connotations (leather, bustiers, sequins) for an amazing turnout. My favorite combination is the one on the right- the look is sheer perfection.
Her daily choices are also really cute. It almost mirrors my personal style, casual classic with a mix of edgy femininity. She's proof that classic doesn't equal boring.
For more Emma Watson, she has recently teamed up with People Tree to create a line of eco-friendly clothing. It’s all really cute, very casual and nautical-inspired. Shop the look here! (http://www.peopletree.co.uk/category/emma-watson/)
That is, in simple words, what I consider a haute person to be. It's that person that you see walking ocasionally, who just looks and acts and dresses like a haute person should. Sure, they have their bad days, but they take them in stride because they know that things will get better.
So what will you find in this blog? One aspiring journalist's journey while she takes her writing into her own hands. One small-town girl with a city girl style's journey into finding the best of both worlds. One girls journey into becoming haute.
